At a time when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal was fairly new to politics and its ways, he was an apple of many eyes. In fact, the fall in his popularity came about only after his 49 day stint in Delhi.

With close to 5 million Facebook 'likes' and over 1.5 million Twitter followers, Kejriwal has been consistently vocal on both Twitter and Facebook. And both the platforms have been equally vocal about him.

If we look back at the trend on social media early on, Kejriwal was almost always trending. Everything that he said or did became a topic of conversation and the case remains unchanged.

Twitter has often been afire with jokes on and about the activist-turned politician. Remember Alok Nath jokes? After reigning the most trending topics in India for a good two weeks, India's babuji was toppled by none other than Kejriwal. And the trend that did this was YoKejriwalSoHonest.

As for Facebook, an explosion of Kejriwal meme-bombs took over.
